We folded, placed on baby, pulled a diaper pin through our hair and pinned those suckers on. Then we put rubber pants over those!

AND to make matters worse, when they pooped, we washed them out in the toilet! YUCK!!! Am I glad those days are over, YES!!!!!nancygraycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05288996419936475583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1276249427610193185.post-47040008715299124662009-05-03T18:57:00.000-04:002009-05-03T18:57:00.000-04:00Thanks so much! I used a diaper service that delivered fresh, clean, thick, white cloth diapers right to my home...and they took the dirty diapers away! Now yes, you need to flush the chunks (I'm sorry I'm being so gross but you are a Mom...you can HANDLE it!)but totally worth it. I think I was given diaper service as a gift, and continued after the gift ran out. I was NOT rich (in fact, looking back, we were kinda poor) but it was worth the expense, and it was cheaper than disposables. Of course, most economical would be cloth you wash yourself. But if we are talking about the environment, diaper service would meet the need. Check into it!Linahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02013170260761076009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1276249427610193185.post-75906418436761341882009-05-02T00:45:00.000-04:002009-05-02T00:45:00.000-04:00This brings back so many memories for me. I might not be the one to speak, having raised my children on cloth diapers. They were not popular when my children were babies.

If I were to have a baby in my home now, I probably would use cloth diapers mostly and disposables when on vacations or long trips away from home.
It is so much more economical to have cloth diapers.
I have always wondered if babies could talk which would they prefer? lol. I thank you for letting me share my thoughts.
SueSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16949983164111997270noreply@blogger.com
